Welcome! Meet Tara

I believe meaningful change begins when we reconnect with who we are beneath life's challenges. My own journey toward authenticity began many years ago, and has been shaped by meaningful experiences and a deep belief that barriers-while often frustrating or intimidating- can become an opportunity for growth.

Mental health counseling is my second career. Before becoming a therapist, I served the Gallatin Valley through the dental profession for sixteen years. During that time, I worked closely with leadership and facilitation coaches from across the country. Those experiences inspired me to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.

Despite these experiences, I realized my purpose was calling me elsewhere. I went on to earn a second Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Today, I integrate my experience in leadership, trauma therapy, and experiential approaches to help client's gain deeper self-awareness, build resilience, and move towards the future they want to create.

I’ve lived in Bozeman for 25 years with my husband, our high-school-age twins, a rotating cast of fur babies, and our horses. Outside of work, I enjoy camping, gardening, spending time with family, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
